Drive it Day
SEECCC members are invited to join us for the unique opportunity to visit the famous Bressingham Steam Museum & Gardens, situated on the A1066 west of Diss in Norfolk, IP22 2AA, for Drive it Day on Sunday 26th April. Bring your classic car and picnic for a fabulous day out in the grounds of this magnificent venue. There is something for everyone at Bressingham: Take a trip on one of the four railways; get close to the mighty steam engines in the locomotive shed; and ride on the magnificent and historic gallopers. Wander through Walmington -on-Sea, home to a collection of Dad’s Army displays and vehicles. Enjoy the unique 17-acre Bressingham gardens, this wonderful collection was started by entrepreneur Alan Bloom, opening his doors to the public 60 years ago. We start the day by meeting for breakfast at the Downham Home & Garden Store, Stone Cross Road, Downham Market, PE38 0AD, at 9.30am. Tea/coffee, English breakfast and bacon baps will be available if required.Please book your place for Drive it Day ASAP because numbers are required. The Club has been given a special entrance fee of £9.00 per person (inclusive of rides on the train & Gallopers). The fee to be collected on the day before arriving at Bressingham (please have cash available). Last available booking date 16th April.
