An Evening with Kingsley Riding-Felce

October 14 @ 19:00 - 22:00

Kingsley Riding-Felce is something of a legend within Aston Martin circles, having served the company for 38 years both at Newport Pagnell and its London offices. Joining as a chassis technician in 1971, he was appointed in 1986 by Victor Gauntlett, the then chairman of Aston Martin Lagaonda, to manage the Works Service department. Eventually becoming the managing director of Aston Martin Works until his retirement in 2014, Kingsley was responsible for many special projects, as well as personally looking after the cars of many famous owners, including the Astons of HRH King Charles when he was the Prince of Wales.

Kingsley’s extensive knowledge and experience have earned him the title ‘Mr Aston Martin’. Having him agree to come to talk to us is something of a coup for the SEECCC because it is the first time that he has been persuaded to give a lecture anywhere – although many have tried in the past. Kingsley tells us that he is going to run through the history of Aston Martin over more than 100 years, interlaced with anecdotes of his own time in the business. Not to be missed! Wednesday 14th October at the Tigers Club – Holbeach; meet at 7pm for 7.30pm start. There is a small charge of £3 for SEECCC members and £5 for non-members for this event.
