Despite it being one of the hottest days of the year, the weather was perfect when we visited Richard Mason’s collection on Thursday evening with a fresh breeze keeping us cool beneath the shade of his tree-lined paddock where we parked our cars. It was a superb setting and the fish and chip van in attendance provided excellent food. Members brought along a very interesting selection of cars to display, and we were joined by several of Richard’s friends from the TR Club. Richard’s collection of around 75 tractors, plus cars and other vehicles, all housed in his purpose-built museum building, was nothing short of amazing! Several of us spent almost four hours looking round, and it was an incredible evening!
