Annual Classic Car Run

We would like to invite you to enter our 28th Annual Classic Car Run. Starting from Silk Willoughby, just off the A15 south of Sleaford, we make our way across the fens to the Lincolnshire Wolds AONB and lunch at Woodhall Spa. After lunch we head to the Heckington Windmill Visitor Centre.

We meet at Pennells Four Seasons Garden Centre, London Road, Silk Willoughby NG34 8NY. Registration starts at 9am and will be welcomed with tea/coffee. A bacon, sausage or vegetarian bap may be pre-ordered if required at an additional cost of £6 per person. Please indicate on the entry form if you require this option. Pre-ordering ensures a more efficient service and help us to make a timely start. We will begin to depart at 10am.

Lunch is at the Petwood Hotel Stixwould Road Woodhall Spa, LN10 6QG. A two-course lunch (table service) is available to pre-order at a cost of £25 per person (menu choices are shown below). Parking for those who wish to bring a picnic is available in a dedicated area within the grounds of Jubilee Park, Stixwould Rd, Woodhall Spa, LN10 6QH, which is immediately opposite the hotel. A service charge for the use of the facilities is included in your entry fee. We will regroup in the hotel car park prior to our planned departure at around 2pm. We end our day at the Heckington Windmill Visitor Centre, Hale Road, Heckington, NG34 9JW.

As usual, we will present the ‘Lyon’s Pride Trophy’ in memory of Alan Lyon, a long-time organiser of this event. To be decided by the organising committee, this ‘pride of ownership award’ will be held by the winner for one year (open to SEECCC members only). We will also present our ‘Car of the Day’ award; open to everyone, as voted for by fellow entrants, for the car they would most like to take home. The winner receives a trophy to keep and be offered free entry into next year’s event.

The entry fee is £38.00 per car. The event will be supporting the club’s chosen charity: Prostate Cancer UK.
