Our final afternoon of the SEECCC tour of Yorkshire was spent at the Embsay & Bolton Abbey Steam Railway for a trip on the steam train while enjoying tea and scones as we watched the beautiful countryside pass by. Afterwards, we were given unique access to the railway’s workshops by one of the directors. Then back to the hotel for a casino evening kindly organised by Mick & Carol Nundy. Our superb trip, which offered fun, frivolity and great friendship, was over all too quickly, and next morning it was time to head back to South Lincolnshire. Many thanks to all those involved, and to Steve, Chris, Stuart and Sue for organising the trip. A brilliant short break in God’s own Country!
