Our SEECCC trip to Yorkshire (14-17 September) was a resounding success with 30 members joining the tour. On Monday, we met up at The Motorist at Sherburn-in-Elmet for brunch before making our way either via Harrogate or Skipton to our destination – The Coniston Hotel, Country Estate & Spa – where we spent three most enjoyable evenings with superb food in excellent surroundings with lovely staff. Our organisers, Steve & Chris Le Sage and Stuart & Sue Gibbard, also kept us amused with some wonderful evening entertainment in our own private dining room. The only problem was that the men couldn’t get a drink because the ladies hogged the bar…!
