Treasure Hunt

Sunday saw 30 members take part in the SEECCC’s annual treasure hunt, organised this year by Steve Le Sage and Stuart Gibbard. After meeting for brunch at Mountains Farm Shop near East Heckington, we set off on an enjoyable 40-mile run around Kesteven through some of Lincolnshire’s prettiest villages and countryside. We ended our afternoon for a late lunch at the Robin Hood & Little John pub near Aslackby. The clues around the route proved to be both easy and hard, but the outcome was hotly contested with only one point separating the top three places. Our eventual winners with 32 out of 36 points were Morgan-owners, Alan and Ruth Rundle.
